In a remarkable series of coincidences, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, two founding fathers of the U.S., and the only two men who signed the Declaration of Independence to become President died on the same day: July 4, 1826, which was the United States' 50th anniversary.

Grabbed this one and will take it to central IL. Just returned home on 07/29 and first chance we've had to catch up entering our finds. Left 2 weeks ago for a few days in Wisconsin Dells, then Door Co, WI, on to Minneapolis, stop over a couple of days in Galena, and now on home. the Wadcutters
