Never Lost Travelbug

The motto of SEPAG is Never Lost. Its a good statement for cachers and for life. As far as the bug goes... as long as there is a compass and a flashlight then one is never lost.

Wish my bug luck as it kicks the crud out of the other racing travelbugs.

I took it with me today to race my sailboat on San Francisco Bay. Took picture with the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz in the background.

Retrieved today. I'll see if I can hand it off to someone who can rack up some miles at one of two events coming up soon (the same day in fact.) Note that this bug is a little lighter now than it is in the picture as it didn't have the wrist compass or the grey flashlight(?) attached to it by the time it got to me.

I like the creed of this TB - a little like the Lowe Alpine slogan "You can't be lost if you don't care where you're going". I agree: armed with GPSr and LED headlamp, there's no place I feel lost.
