About This Item

Once there was a Pirate who found a huge treasure. He took great pride in burying his treasure. The next day he dug it up and buried it in a different spot, and spent the remainder of the day making a map leading to the new place the Treasure was hidden. Now, The Pirate was a bit stupid, and had waaaaay to much time on his hands, so he did the same thing the next day and the next day, and planned to do that the rest of his life. And he was happy.
Then he got married.
"You love those MAPS more then you love ME!" His wife pouted.
"No, I don't!" The Pirate said.
"YES YOU DO!!!" His wife shouted at her husband.
"No, I don't!" The Pirate said again.
"Then put down your maps and talk to me for once! Better yet, Get rid of those accursed MAPS!"
The Pirate didn't want to argue. "Fine, dear. Whatever you say." But instead of getting rid of the accursed MAPS, he told his wife he was going on an errand, and re-buried his Treasure then. He spent the rest of the day with his wife, and then, at night, while his wife was asleep, he drew his maps. He did the same thing the next day and the next day, and planned to do that the rest of his life. He had to drink a lot of coffee, but still, he was happy.
Then they had a son.
Their son grew to be 8 years old, and the Pirate decided his son should know about the maps. So he took his son with him to dig up and re-bury the treasure.
"Son," He said, "One day all this treasure will be yours. Guard it well."
"REALLY?" His son asked, "COOL!"
The son was SOOOO excited that he just HAD to tell the next person he saw. That person happened to be his mom.
"MOMMY! MOMMY! GUESS WHAT! DADDY SAID I GET HIS TREASURE WHEN I'M OLDER!"
"Oh, really?" His mother asked, in a thoughtful tone. "Where is the Treasure?"
And the small boy told her everything he knew about the location of the treasure, And the next day, before her husband woke up, she found the treasure and re-buried it, in a different spot. Her husband never found his treasure, but other people continue to find it and re-bury it in a different spot, only to have it found by another person who re-buries it in a different spot…
