Current Goal

Albert would like to see as much of Blackpool as he can as this is where his relatives spent many a holiday. He would also like to see as much of Lancashire and the neighbouring counties before returning to Wiltshire. If he could make it to Arras in northern France that would be brilliant.

About This Item

Albert is named after a relative who lived in Besses o'th Barn,near Bury, who joined up in August 1914 at the outbreak of the First World War and who fought and sadly lost his life on the battlefields near Arras in May 1916 aged 19.
