Current Goal

I would like to go to caches near biofuel/biodiesel/ethanol manufacturers and distributors, hydroelectric power plants, wind farms, Solar farms, methane powered generators (derived from cow manure or garbage processing), or anything that helps reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Please give the coordinates and details. Extra points if you take pictures. If you don't know where any of these are, then just move me to the next cache. Some suggestions:

About This Item

I bought this geocoin to help spread awareness about alternative energy sources. I am currently heating my house, water heater, and hot tub with 100%Yellow brand biofuel made from 50% soybean oil & 50% Recycled fryer grease blended with methanol and lye, heated, separated, & filtered. It required very minor modifications to the oil burner settings.

    Since I was passing this place today, I thought I'd place the coin in the nearby cache. The cache is actually behind Willie's Place and you can see the biodiesel containers from the cache. The diesel pumps seemed to be up and running, but the alternative fuel pumps were not open yet. If you visit between 6 am and I think 10 am, you can go inside and get doughnuts and coffee and chat with the XM radio personalities.

    Found this cool-looking coin on a rainy day. It became more interesting when I read about it on the coin page. Here's a link to Willie Nelson's biofuel page. http://www.biowillieusa.com/index.php

    The facility is in Durant,OK so people could get this coin north of Dallas about 75 miles. I'm willing to bet there are caches in Durant. Also, there is a cache hidden in the parking lot of Willie's Place, that will soon be offering biodiesel, in Carl's Corner south of Dallas on I-35. Dark Star and I recently stopped there and met the DJs for his XM radio station and had some free coffee and doughnuts.

    I hope these are some ideas that will get this coin to its goal! Great idea BTW!
