Race winner!

I’m one of four classic car travel bugs racing across America in each direction! Race origin: Cortland, Nebraska. Winner is TB which reaches its destination first! Racing TBs: 1940 Ford Coupe (TBHWVY) - south to Mexican Border ; 1951 Mercury (TBHM5T) - north to Canadian Border ; 1955 Chrysler C-300 (TBHNZ5) - east to Atlantic Ocean ; 1957 Chevy Bel Air (TBHRYG) - west to Pacific Ocean.

Note: the 1957 Chevy Bel Air won the race, reaching the west coast in June 2005. The 1951 Mercury won 2nd place, reaching Canada in December -- it took the scenic route and covered nearly twice as many miles as its competitors!

At 11:44 this morning, this guy reached the Pacific Ocean. We took a picture and then grabbed him quick to keep him from washing away. This seemed like the right cache to leave him in.
