Current Goal

This geocoin is being held hostage by its last logger, called: diedreidor…

If you happen to meet please explain to this geocacher(s) that this geocoin is not to be kept.
This geocoin is owned by me and it needs to be dropped in a geocache.
The purpose of a geocoin is to travel from cache to cache.
Thank you...

The goal of this coin is to spread the message of Bike Awareness while travelling from cache to cache. Travel to the USA and end up in one of the caches of Rockin Roddy, who then can retrieve and adopt this coin.

Please don't use the "took it" to or "visited" option, just drop the geocoin in the next cache you visit that is big enough to hold coins.
Let others read the message and log this geocoin too.
The logging of all geocaches you have visited does not really add anything to the goal of this geocoin.
Above mentioned logs will be removed.

Thank you...

About This Item

Flower of Life (SE)

This coin has been released as part of the Bike Awareness Project. It is a project initiated by USA geocacher Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his dear friend and caching companion Tod Phillips who was cut off by a left turning vehicle too much in a hurry to notice oncoming traffic. Tod was the 3rd member of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. Tod died on August 12 2008.

Although the Netherlands are considered a “save” country for every travic participant, in 2007 still 59 motor drivers were killed in accidents. At 19-09-2008 a biker lost his live on the freeway to Apeldoorn. He was 49 years old and somebody’s son, father or friend. Like Tod, who left behind a wife and two kids, parents and a lot of friends. I am sad to tell you that at 25-09-2008 another Biker lost his life in an accident on the freeway near Rotterdam. We all (bikers and drivers) learned how to drive save, so….................
WAKE UP AND PAY EXTRA ATTENTION AGAIN!
REMEMBER; A LOST LIFE IS A LIFE LOST.
