We picked up this Buzz Lightyear in a cache over a year ago in one of our very first finds. We've hung on to it for no other reason than getting around to ordering travel bug tags.

My 4-day trip has added a 5th day. Spent an unexpected day/evening in LAS (Las Vegas, NV) because of flight schedule changes caused by the IAH airport closure. IAH airport is expected to open from Hurricane Ike damage in the early hours of Monday morning. I should be one of the first flights back into the airport at 5:30am. I have cleaned out most of the caches on the Vegas Strip on previous visits to LAS. Today I had to do a lot of walking to pick up 2 more (new) caches. 8.6 mile walk on a beautiful but HOT 93 degree day.

I had a lot of caching planned in DEN on my 4-day trip. However, Hurricane Ike changed my schedule and instead I was stuck in EWR (Newark, NJ) for 42 hrs. Very few caches near the only hotel they could find for us. Because I had so much time, I at least took a nice walk. 6.3 miles and only 1 find. I hope to make it home on Sunday evening. Not sure how much caching I will do next week as I have the entire week off and have some major home projects to work on. (oh, who am I kidding, I'll try to squeeze in some time for this addictive hobby)

In CLE (Cleveland, OH) for a long layover downtown. The Sunday morning started out a little wet, but it sure didn't slow down my caching. Busy downtown as the Browns host the Cowboys for the season opener. 7.9 miles walk, 10 find, 2 DNFs. Long day ahead of me. Flying CLE-EWR, then EWR-LAX
