To swim from cache to cache, maybe having a quick nibble here and there in return for leaving you with his piranha icon. (Don't drop him in your bath, he just might get hungry.)
If you think he's a bit limp when you find him drop him in a bowl of water... he'll be fine.
The original Piranha geocoin (see pic in the Gallery) was released in June '07 but only managed to swim 245 miles between caches before some unscrupulous person netted it. After he had been a dead fish for two years I decided to breath life into his gills once more and revive him as a proxy trackable item.
The first Piranha proxy disappeared in the hands of milliemoo who retrieved it in July 2010. I'm not sure what happened - it may have eaten her.
This second Piranha proxy started travelling from our "Fish Flash Splish Splash Dash" event in Weston-super-Mare, on the second International Geocaching Day - 18th August 2012.
