About This Item

USA-Canada Celebration Geocoin

This geocoin celebrates both the USA and Canada on the same coin, with the July 4th Independence Day and July 1st Canada Day. One side has the Statue of Liberty and USA “Stars & Stripes” flag and the other side has the Maple Leaf Canadian flag with the Aurora Borealis in the background. It is 1.5" wide and 3.0mm thick with a gold finish.

Was at Tree Fall Zone (GC15A6G) today (June 28). Geocoin was not there. Very disappointing as we wanted to take it across the border with us as we head home to Canada.

Logbook there is slightly confusing. The person who dropped off the geocoin left it on May 18. Then the next log is an unsigned, undated pencil note about taking the geocoin, as well as 2 other items, and leaving 3 items. Then a note in black ink pen on June 5, but only the date and their name. Got in touch with those folks, and they don't have it - so it has been taken by unknown people and not logged.
