Current Goal

My mission it to reach a special little girl in the U.K., Jaz. Please help me get to GCKN24 "Twist and Shout" where Jaz can pick me up. Along the way, you should sign my book and leave a pin or place a sticker showing the different places I've been and the cool things I've seen!

About This Item

Prepared to deploy!

I am a 10" tall bear proudly wearing a U.S. Air Force uniform. I represent all the brave Armed Forces members and their families, especailly the military children, who have had the priviledge to be stationed in many great countries, make great friends there, and sadly leave them after too short a time to continue their faithful service. Here's to you! God bless the military child!

Hello Everyone!!
This is bear force 1 (the weary traveller), i have finally made it to Jasmin.
For a moment it looked like i had gone missing from the Newmarket cache as i was mistakenly picked up. Fortunatly i was placed near the cache, found a traffic cone to stand on so that Jasmin's dad could see me when he came searching for the second time.
Thank you to everyone who wrote in my diary and the troops in Iraq were teriffic equipping me with a radar proof backpack (very stylish) in which to keep my diary and collection of gifts that people gave me along the way.
I have now retired to Fressingfield, Suffolk and i share my house with Jasmin, Jasmin's Mummy, 2 spaniels and 3 cats. Have been scratching a bit so they may have given me their fleas as a welcome present.
I am now pursuing relaxing countryside activities like rambling and fishing BUT like to get my uniform on at the weekends with the TABs (territorial army bears)
Thank you to everyone who helped me on my journey.
Special thanks to my fellow military guys.

Wow I have been watching this Bear for almost 3 years now. I am so glad that he has finally made it to his destination. I am honored to have been part of his travels.

Yeah! He's finally made it! Soon, Jaz will pick him up and this tired Airman can rest his weary boots and will start his life in his new home. I know he will love it as much as I did. Thanks so much for everyones hard work helping him find his way across the globe. I'm counting on Jaz to post plenty of pics of him in his home and with his new family. Jaz, I hope you know how much love he brings with him (what he started with and what he picked up along the way). Cheers, everbody! And keep your fingers crossed, just spoke with Jaz's Dad a moment ago they are on their way right now to retrieve him!

Well Well Well, what a special Travel Bug this is!
And what a mission it is on!

When I was at the geocache site I entered the final coordinates for the destination of this TB into my GPS and found it to e a little over 26 miles from it's final destination.
Because the story behind this little bear really touched me I decided too drive the extra couple of miles and take it to it's final destination.

I hope the brave girl for which it is meant will pick it up as soon as possible.

Please email me and tell me the whole story.
I'm pretty curious now ;-)

Greetings from a travelling Dutchman

Visited Duxford museum on the way and put a badge in his pack (I didn't have a needle & thread!).
Not far to go now - Good luck.
