I just love to travel. Take me along on your adventure and keep me moving. If I could get closer to Greece, my home country, it would be a bonus. Thanks for taking good care of me on my journey.
Tarpon Springs, Florida is the home of the largest Greek community in the USA. Greek imigrants founded this community because the temperature and waters were very similar to the Mediteranian near Greece. The Greek Othodox Church is located there and each year in January they have an Epifany celbration. All boys 16 - 18 dive for a wooden cross thrown by the Archbishop. If you get a chance to see this celebration, you will love it. Tarpon Springs is on the West coast of Florida about midway on the peninsula just North of Tampa Bay.
