About This Item

The very first item in the chain

The Ring we placed in the Chain of Stories was taken from the very first cache we ever found. The date was September 22nd 2007. It was a beautiful sunny Saturday – perfect for Geocaching. Our first shot at finding the cache was in the morning. After searching for 20 minutes we gave up but decided to come back later the same day and that’s when we found it.
It was hidden the coolest place and from that day the whole family was hooked on Geocaching.

Sorry for the delay, got kind of sidetracked here in the boring winter season. No story item added but at least here comes a little something just in words:
Went to pick up my first own Geocoin today. Won it for helping another coin move around in some contest and so it was sent through caches here in Sweden. From the east cost to the west coast.
After a few months it finally arrived in a cache near me and I hastily went to pick it up.
And yes, took the opportunity to let the chain out of prison and to get on with it's travelling.
