[en] We picked up this little fellow in Kyoto during a holiday. The Maneki Neko is a very common Japanese symbol which will bring you luck. In Japan, you find it very often waving one paw. I guess it got a little bit homesick with us in Europe so we thought we should send it back for a holiday. Hopefully it will return to us after its visit to its hometown. To keep the Maneki Neko happy, it would really love to visit many happy cats on the way. Please be so kind to post pictures.
[de] Wir haben unseren kleinen Freund während eines Urlaubs in Kyoto aufgesammelt. Die Maneki Neko ist in Japan ein sehr verbreitetes Symbol, das Glück bringt. In Japan sieht man sie oft mit einer winkenden Pfote. Ich glaube, unsere Katze hat bei uns in Europa ein wenig Heimweh bekommen und daher möchten wir sie gerne zurück in die Heimat auf eine Urlaubsreise schicken. Hoffentlich kommt sie nach einem Besuch ihrer Heimatstadt Kyoto wieder zu uns zurück. Es würde die Katze sehr glücklich machen, wenn sie auf dem Weg möglichst viele andere glückliche Katzen treffen könnte. Bitte sei doch so nett und stelle ein Foto auf die Webseite.
