Bert stepped back from the beach scene to get a history lesson. He's at Newtown Battlefield which was a major battle during the Revolutionary War between the continental army and the British and their Indian allies. This battle fairly well took the Indian six nations out of the war.

We found this travel bug at Maumee State Park in Ohio on the shore of Lake Erie. It was about 30 degrees, bright sunny day, cold, beautiful day to walk on the beach. Will try to upload a picture of the bug we took near the beach there.

It took us a long time to hide this fella. We vacationed in Wellsley Island State Park and took this guy along. We found a geocache along the nature hike on the state park island and deposited him there. We had fun camping and fixing cars along the way.

The gnome is now residing in the Flickers Perch cache at N44 17.981 W 076 02.276. It is a nice hike.
