THE STORY: Big Bob is getting ready to retire as the County Land Surveyor in Pierce County, Washington and wants Little Bob to follow in his footsteps. Little Bob wants to see if Pierce County is the best County in the USA to survey in. Little Bob is bobin’ off to visit the other 3140 Counties in the United States.
HOME: Pierce County, Washington has the Puget Sound at Sea Level and 50 miles east is majestic Mount Rainier, elevation 14,410’. Fertile green meadows in the rainy season in the midst of scenic rolling foot hills full of evergreen trees.
ITEM: The Plumb Bob is one of the oldest tools in the world. The Egyptians used Stone Bobs for building as early as 2600 BC. The Plumb Bob is recognized as a Land Surveyors “Tool of the Trade”.------ BUUDZ
