1.To travel randomly from cache to cache and grow in size by having each cacher who finds it add a bead to the length.
2.To have photos taken being worn by cachers.

Add a Bead

Add a Bead started in Arcata, California in December of 2004.

Please add one or more beads to this travel bug necklace before placing it in a new cache. If you don't have access to any beads, no worries.
Do what you need to keep the beads from sliding off, a small bead can be used at the end, put the string through twice to "lock" it in place. I inclued a few small beads for this purpose but they may be used up or missing by now, who knows!

I'd love to see pictures of cachers wearing the necklace. If you are shy, take a picture of your hand wearing it as a bracelet! I'd just like to see how it has grown in length once in a while.

Picked this guy up at Ash Cash on Feb 27. It appears the last few people that have had it did not know how to log Travel Bugs. I emailed the owner to see if they would like me to try to get its mileage caught up and accurate but they never answered. I had set it aside while waiting and forgot I had it!
I want to move it along so I'll log it in and out of the Ash Cash at least, and then add a bead and drop it somewhere. Whoever picks it up next be sure to log that you have it (on its own TB page) and then drop it fromyour inventory when you leave it. This poor guy has been having a hard time!
