Current Goal

Think Flat. Take her to flat places, introduce her to flat objects, or just simply take a photo of her in various locations. My first grade students are eager to track her adventures online as a class project. PHOTOS ARE MOST WELCOME! Take care of Flat Estefania and feed her well. :)

Flat Estefania

Flat Stanley is a children's book by Jeff Brown. When Stanley Lambchop wakes up one morning, he discovers he is FLAT! A bulletin board fell on Stanley during the night, and now he is paper thin! Amazing things begin to happen to him. Stanley gets rolled up, mailed and flown like a kite. He even gets to help catch two dangerous thieves. He may be flat, but Stanley is a hero!

Picked her up in Pioneers Park in Lincoln, NE. Took a picture of her in the park which I will upload when I get home. She will head up north to Minnesota tomorrow.

We decided to take her along on our trip to Mexico and take pictures of her in various places. I will upload more pictures when we get back home. Then I will let her loose in another Geocache box!

She just got back from a 10 day Mexican Cruise to the Sea of Cortez (West side of Mexico, Pacific Ocean). I will load pictures from each Port tonight and other pictures showing her with 'flat' things later. Get out your world map or atlas to track where she has been. Sorry I was not able to GPS locate or Geocache these ports.

She is still very healthy. She did NOT get sick!

  • Day 7 La Paz Day 7, Port of Pichilingue, took a shuttle bus into the closest town of La Paz the capitol city of the Mexican state of Northern Baja California.
  • Day 8 Cabo San Lucas Day 8 Gangway sign as we walk off the Tender in Cabo San Lucas. Busy Harbor too shallow for our ship to dock.
  • Day 10 back in San Diego Day 10, back in the port of San Diego. Looking across at a long 'flat' submarine!
  • End of trip Back in Minnesota, getting ready to land at the MSP airport.
