last one on the ride today... grabbed 3 FTFs earlier on the trail... decided to keep coming and grab this one too.

FTF #38!

first time i've ever had 3 in a day...
got to GZ and waited for a few people looking over the side. then realized there was someone underneath clearing brush. tried to keep out of sight while looking. definitely a lot of nooks and crannies. finally spotted a good spot, but wasn't there... so checked the other side and there it was!

a great ride today... did about 8 miles between the 4 caches.

FTF #37!

after finding the first one along the trial, i had a pretty good feeling about the other two. got to GZ, but couldn't decide which side of the trail to look first... both had good hiding spots. didn't download the cache description or print anything out, so finally decided to look up the cache from my phone. after 5 minutes of trying to connect, inputting passwords, and filtering out finds, i finally got to load. except the description and hint didn't do much from where i was standing. started poking around and it just jumped out at me. signed the log and headed down the trail for the last one.

FTF #36!

no email alerts at the usual time last night, so imagine my surprise to see 3 caches all within striking distance in my inbox this morning. except this was the morning i decided to sleep in, so didn't see them until almost 9. even though no one had logged them yet, i figured today would be a good day for a bike ride. took my time getting ready, and almost had a panic attack when my bike wasn't in our parking stall in the basement...
hit the trail from the parking area at riley at a leisurely pace, and couldn't believe my luck when i found the cache - a blank log! tucked it back in, then headed on down the trail.
