This Inukshuk key chain came from the Canadian Carver in Pancake Bay, Ontario - near the north shore of Lake Superior. Inukshuk were used as navigation & reference markers in places where there were few natural landmarks (especially north of the Arctic Circle). We've seen several of these along the roads in Canada, though the inuksuit (plural of inukshuk) we've seen were most likely placed by people who just enjoyed seeing them and not for actual navigation purposes! Nonetheless, they're very interesting and we like them. If you'd like to learn more about them, check out the wikipedia article ( (visit link) ) which tells about them and has links to other sources.

I can't move this to it's current location - GC2N6NJ - as it's s premium member's only cache. So, if you pick this up, please log it properly and move it along. Thanks!
This Travel Bug remains in New Jersey (sorry :( ) and is in Rubber ducky your the one: 2N6NJ
I'm pretty new to geocaching, so... Anyway, I'm planning a trip to Colorado in July and plan to take the bug with me there.
My bad, kept it too long.
It is now in Cook Stream Cache in Kingston, NJ
Please get it moving somewhere more interesting than Central Jersey!
We'll be sure to drop this off somewhere soon, perhaps "down the shore" or in PA.
Thanks for a great find!
