This cache was in a beautiful part of Nose Hill Park, Hope. The grass was as high as my shoulder!! You would have found some really good hiding spots except for the mosquitoes!! There was a lovely pool of water and, as we were walking along looking for the cache, my friend Grey Wolfe and I saw a lovely white-tailed deer come down to drink at the water's edge. It was a postcard scene. You wouldn't expect to find that in the middle of a great big city, would you?! I am going to hold on to Little Dino for just a short while more and then she will go on her way. We are having an Event Cache on the 30th. One of our cachers is going to the big caching event in Quebec City and would like to take Little Dino. There will be lots of people from around the world in Quebec so I am hoping that Little Dino gets picked up and taken for a long and happy ride to some other country. That would be fun!! Here are some of the things that Little Dino saw at the Stampede with me and Squirrel Nutcacher (SNC).

This is a FTF cache for me, Hope - that means First To Find!! Yay!! I will be taking Li'l Dino to the Stampede with me all this week. I will log some more pictures when I get them downloaded. We stopped by the University of Calgary Theatre so that SNC could attend her dance recital. Dino came with us to watch her. We saw two sculptures on the university grounds so SNC and M took Dino to have her picture take with them. Afterward we went to find this cache. We also found a baby crow and its parents. We were greeted by the cawing of a pair of tow very nervous parent crows as we got to the cache. When we looked up, there was a baby crow sitting on the branch above the cache. It was just learning to fly and the parents were rather disturbed that we were in the area. We signed the log, made our trades and left quietly. Dino has had a busy day. SNC and M are having a sleep-over tonight. I think Dino will stay awake too!!
