Current Goal

GeoHarvester is a hitchhiker riding along on a Travel Bug, moving from Geocache to Geocache on a specific mission. He wants to see where in the world the next harvest may be that he can participate in with the locals. His main goal is to visit any agricultrual site in the world where this may be accomplished. Along with this, please remember that a country boy has to go to town every now and then so don't be afraid to show him the bright lights and big cities. The home cache for this bug is GCMM2A.

About This Item

Go Hogs

I am a 2004 Model John Deere 9760 STS Combine. I have a single tine separator system I have an annual duty of harvesting about 1300 acres of rice and 1800 acers of soybeans

For those of you who are wondering where or how this came about....he was inspired from my own combine and harvest interest. I have operated a combine in rice and soybean harvest on my own farm for 13 seasons. I am retiring my first combine this year (2004), so I am starting GeoHarvester in honor of that machine. His journeys will begin from my cache on the farm. The farm is located about 6.5 miles West of Wynne, Arkansas USA. Just a note. The orginal combine(the one in the pic) the TB is placed in honer of has been put to work in California. It's home has been hit by a sever tornado. most all of the tractors and combines it once worked with have been lost. check the pic to see before and after shots

Wow, I like these kinds of things. But it needs to find a repair shop. The front spiny thingy is missing.

Wow, what a large travel bug. I like John Deere replicas. I inherited a 1932 model b John Deere tractor replica and a few other tractors too. Your harvester needs to go into the implement dealer for repairs though. The front blades have disappeared, that will make harvesting really tough.

We will get this GeoHarvester moving along as soon as we can come up with a cache large enough to put it in. Hopefully in the next couple of days as we will be doing a lot of geocaching while on our vacation up in the California Gold Country near Sonora, California.
