This travel bug prefers to travel alone and shall not attend any event caches. (The original one got lost during the only one it attended.)

About This Item

Original

Reload

For my first 463 geocaches, my Garmin Geko 101 was my trusty companion in this sport on (until launch of this travel bug) four continents. To memorize this companionship, I am sending The Geko on a mission around the planet. It shall visit all continents and especially the locations listed in the following table (not necessarily in the given order). The visits must be documented by a picture off the travel bug on site.

This travel bug likes to travel. And it likes to share its experiences. So even if you are not taking the bug to one of the listed location, just take there a picture of the travel bug at a nice place and post it in your log.

Rest in peace.

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 8/18/2010 Seekuh grabbed it   Visit Log

Despite of rimac57's note to have the travel bug placed in The Short Cut (GC1N5QW) after keeping it for several month and NOT responding to any messages from me, it has not been found there. Let's face it: Even reloaded, The Geko was just able to visit just one new cache before being stolen again.

I hope there is a special hell for people who prevent travel bugs from completing their journey.

Visited The Shortcut today, no sign of the Geko I'm afraid...

If TB owner had some faith in life, maybe he should have considered there was a serious and legitimate reason why TB had not been dropped off. Crap things happen in life and unfortunately insignificant games get set aside until life can continue again. TB dropped off at The Short Cut GC1N5QW near Cranwell.

Retrieve It from a Cache 3/21/2010 rjmac57 retrieved it from Water Wander East Midlands, United Kingdom   Visit Log

Will move on ASAP.

After the original one got lost in the United States without accomplishing one of it's tasks (I allways considered event caches being a bad idea), I relaunched the travel bug to give it a second chance. Godspeed.

Sorry folks, but it looks like this bug has gone missing. I would like to receive any life sign from it, but as it looks, it has gone missing during the Burning Meat and Tall Tales Event.

I was attending an event in Lexington, KY with my mom and dad an dthere was a table full of trackables on the table and so I helped my dad get some of the numbers down so we could discover these trackables and this was one of the trackables on the table. I appreciate you sharing your trackable with the geocaching community!!
