Dear Fellow Agents,
It is with great regret that we at the Spy Agency (Lord of the Rings cache, GCMTA6) are informing you that your travel bug, TBHZ45, appears to be missing in action. I personally emailed EVERY agent who had logged through our cache and taken a travel bug since the date that the first bug went missing, to no avail. We suspect that some cachers have taken bugs and not logged their visit at all, or some have accidentally picked up a TB thinking it was a regular toy. Unfortunately, in either case, our agents have been unable to reach them.

Would you mind "retrieving" your travel bug from our cache, so we have an accurate count of the bugs that are actually in the box? Many visitors have come to our cache looking for your bug, and are confused when they don't find it there.

Dear Fellow Agents,
We at the agency have just completed an investigation, in an attempt to find the travel bugs that appear to be MIA after being checked into our Lord of the Rings cache (GCMTA6). If you are receiving this transmission, that list includes yours. I personally emailed EVERY agent who had logged through our cache and taken a travel bug since 3/27/09 - the date that the first bug (Cadillac Ranch TB) went missing. Almost every agent reported back with confirmation that they had taken other TBs, and correctly logged them. As our cache is very secure from Muggles, the only possibilities left are that some cachers have taken bugs and not logged their visit at all, or some have accidentally picked up a TB thinking it was a regular toy. Unfortunately, in either case, agents will be unable to reach them. We'll keep this case open, but I just wanted to give everyone an update on our efforts. Happy hunting. SpySix out.
