Current Goal

This breast cancer token is named for a special 86 year old cancer survivor. HET's goal is to meet other survivors or victims of cancer, so please introduce her to them before moving her to the next cache. You can add your own pink ribbon or ring to represent those you know who have had cancer.  UPDATE on HET:  After launching this TB, the sweet lady who it is named for lived another five years.  She passed away on her 91st birthday, March 1, 2012.  Please move it along as quickly as possible.  We would like to pick it up in Las Vegas, NV between April 1-5.  If someone could add a note to the TB bag with this new goal we'd really appreciate it.

October is breast cancer awareness month and this TB is a token I picked up. The price for the token helps pay for cancer research. Little did I know when I purchased this, that I would be taking my own mother in for a Lumpectomy. It is named after Mom with the pet name my Dad called her: HET. I invite you to add your own pink ring, or anything pink (even a piece of ribbon), to represent a friend, co-worker or loved one who has cancer or has survived cancer. Tell me your story as you add to the chain and let's support the "Cure 4 Life" whenever we have the opportunity!  UPDATE:  Het passed away on her 91st birthday, March 1, 2012.  We would like her TB to make it's way back to us.  Please send it towards Las Vegas, NV by April 1.

I love this TB, its a great idea! I also love it because my mother passed of breast cancer in 2013, and my aunt was diagnosed last year. I will be sure to have them meet ansend it on its way! :) TFTF!
