About This Item

Koala the Slow One

Koalas are not bears. They are not mammals, but MARSUPIALS , which means that their young are born immature & they develop further in the safety of a pouch. It is incorrect to call them ‘koala bears’. Their correct name is simply 'koalas'. Koalas are mostly nocturnal. Most of their time is spent sleeping because it requires a lot of energy to digest their toxic, fibrous, low-nutrition diet and sleeping is the best way to conserve energy. For more information about Koalas see http://www.australianfauna.com/koala.php This TB started at "Two Creeks" Cache near Roseville in Sydney Australia on 11th May 2008 .

I see this one's last log is in some cache way back in 2014. Not sure how it got from there to the event, but some cachers must not be logging trackables properly. It is alive and well.
