"Mattie" is a laminated photograph of the Doonie's toy cat with the same name. This copy is this cat's 6th of 9 lives.
It's first "life" raced another TB, "Mississippi Mattie" TB1RM7N from Barringer Crater, Arizona to Johnson City, TN. Unfortunately, Mattie disappeared in Nashville so her 2nd "life" was dropped in Nashville to go to Asheville, NC.
The 2nd life made it back to Asheville and was redeployed to Portland, OR for another race against the "Skunk Ghost" TB2A75P but Mattie disappeared near Abilene, TX.
The 3rd life was dropped into a very cool cache atop one of New Orleans' highest buildings after the Mardi Gras marathon and returned 1 year and 10 months later to her then home cache in Asheville, NC. She was then redeployed to Vancouver Island on September 18, 2011 to make another safe trip back to North Carolina. However, she never made it off the island.
The 4th life was dropped off in Alberta Canada but it too disappeared.
The 5th life was dropped in Cody Wyoming but disappeared.
What you now see is the kitteh's 6th life that was dropped off near Area 51. She is racing the TB "Fat Max" to Knoxville, Tennessee.
