Scotchie is just looking for a good time. He was picked up out of the Sounds of Sante Fe cache in Edmond, Ok and has been in a backpack pocket ever since. He is ready to get a life!!!!

About This Item

Scotchie is a very agreeable little grouse. His idea of a good time is anything you want it to be. He likes movies, eating out, dancing at clubs(ballroom, two-stepping, hip-hop,etc...)picnics in the moonlight(if you happen to be a cute little girl grouse), fishing, NO HUNTING!!!!, geocaching, flying kites, you name it, he likes it. Take Scotchie out and show him a good time and then if possible, post pictures and stories about the adventures that you have while in his company.

Found this Grouse in a cache together with a terrier dog. They became close friends I suppose because Scotchie is in good physical order.

A couple of weeks ago I found Scotchie in a cache in Germany and I took him with me, back to Holland where he was before. I didn't take him out, but he assured me that he's had a GoodTime after all.
Though he doesn't like hunting (being hunted I guess!) he became friends with our two Gordon Setters Julia and Maura, both of them gundogs from Scotland. And with our third dog, Céline, a Fawn Brittany Basset.
I also noticed that the longer Scotchie stayed in my house the emptier my bottles of Scotch whisky became. So you'll understand that finally I had to get rid of him. I said goodbye to him, wished him a nice journey and dropped him in a cache in a beautiful area which he'll like. But before I did so I took a picture of Scotchie together with two small Gordon Setter statues.

May 21 2006 22.10h CET. Yesterday I found TB Scotchie the GoodTime Grouse in cache Steinalk. I didn't know about its goal & interests until I read about it this evening. Now I know I shouldn't have taken Scotchie with me because (1) he was in Holland before and, more important, (2) I have two Gordon Setters (Scottish gundogs) but Scotchie doesn't like hunting. Yet he'll have to make their acquaintance in the next few days. I hope Scotchie will live to see another cache next week or so.
