This is the Techno the Tom Cat here. I have caught the "Travel Bug" and I need to travel to as many caches as possible and find all of their secrets and report back to my owners. Techno Tom just didn't look comfortable with all those bald eagles circling overhead so he is headed for calmer water and smaller birds.

Techno has developed a fear of birds since a hair raising incident he had with a bald eagle at Ebey Bluffs. He seems to be adapting quite well to life in the Great North West. Tomorrow, he plans to go cruising the San Juan Islands and fishing for cod.

When we first got to the cache I thought that we had found the HipHop travel bug and figured it wanted to get out of Arizona since it seemed stuck there. After discovering that we had the Techno the Tom Cat travel bug I discovered that he was feeling poorly and wanted to go where it was warm. However, I had no choice but to take him to the Northwest where it has been snowing lately. I will try to get him to an appropriate cache so he can be on his way to warmer climates. Fwiw, his mechanism does not seem to be working anymore. Perhaps some warmth will help. For now he is hanging out with 'Big Boy' our cat.

This was my first cache and I did not understand why the guy taking me to it was so excited when we opened the box. Well it was because he had found his first travel bug. He will be taking it with him to a new state, far away from AZ. I was just happy to have found a travel bug on my first cache. I hope to find more again in the future.
