Finish: Back in Oregon the winner! Thanks to all who moved Pooh around the West. The other two racers ended up stuck by the wayside somewhere, oh well.

    When we picked this TB up in San Francisco on 12/10/2005, its "Current Goal" read just as it does today: trying to get to Oregon to finish the race against two other TBs--a race which it was leading at the time.

    We dropped it in Oregon on 1/5/2006, which should have won it the race.
    100 Acre Wood Racer 2 has been languishing in Texas somewhere since January.(?!)
    And 100 Acre Wood Racer 3 got lost early on at a pizza party in Washington.

    But Sp8manSpiff has never declared the win. Judging by the dates of last activity on his profile page, it looks like he doesn't really cache anymore...

    So I am going to declare 100 Acre Wood Racer 1 THE OFFICIAL WINNER OF THE 100 ACRE WOOD RACE! With a winning time of 8 months and 7 days.

    I think Mr. Pooh Bear is now free of any obligations to Oregon. If someone wants him to go to Idaho, I say let him go! It will be a kind of victory lap...

    The kids thought Winney was great so we picked him up. His tag said he wanted to go to Idaho...we're headed that way...then I got home and read the description...I can send him back to OR with some friends if you would like or drop him here in Idaho...Let me know. =).
