Uit recent onderzoek is naar voren gekomen dat bewegen het risico op borstkanker kan verkleinen. Per jaar komen er circa 12.500 nieuwe borstkankerpatiënten bij. Dat betekent dat 1 op de 9 vrouwen borstkanker krijgt. Gebleken is dat op termijn per jaar 1000 tot 1500 gevallen van borstkanker voorkomen kunnen worden, als iedereen maar voldoende beweegt!

In a recent study it was shown that exercising reduces the risk on breast cancer. Every year there are 12.500 new breast cancer patients in the Netherlands. This means that 1 in every 9 females will get breast cancer. It has now been shown that about 10% of the new cases of breast cancer could have been avoided if everybody exercises sufficiently!
