This is a 2007 Michigan Spring Geocoin. It would like very much to travel! Please do not keep this coin. When it makes its way back to me I’m happy to mail it to you for your collection if you want it, but please let it travel first. This coin is a SPRING THEME coin. It would like to travel to places that have some relationship (however nebulous) to spring. And it will be awesome – did I mention awesome? – if it gets its photo taken along with the spring theme and that photo gets posted to show its adventures.
It started its journey at Spring Branch Creek in Houston GC1KBFB on December 28, 2009.
Spring can be a very wide open concept. It’s one of those English words that has a variety of meanings, related words, and concepts. Just to name a few…

Or something to you for dinner when you go out to eat with a friend who forgot to bring any money. Or something you do to your clocks to move them forward once a year.
Coil – Something a snake does. Or something you do with rope.
Helix – A double thing.
Jump – Something you can do to a conclusion. Or something you do off of a bridge. Or, if you make TV shows, something you can do over a shark.
Bounce – Something you use to clog up the filters of your clothes dryer – and soften the fabric of your clothes. Something you do with a ball. Or a check.
Pounce – Something you could do if you were a jaguar.
Sprang – Something you did to a spring “I done gone and sprang that thang.” Or maybe an ankle.
Springs – Something that bubbles up from the ground that can be good to drink as long as you’ve tested it for 12,325 different pollutants and organisms. Or the name of a town, as in Hot …
Go forth! Take a picture! Have fun – and spring at the chance to move the coin along. Go to www.geocaching.com to log the progress of this trackable and to see where it has been before. Thanks for playing!
