Being a boy scout, now leader and never been to a Jamboree, had to get hold of this one for a bit.

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 11/19/2007 3 Hawks grabbed it   Visit Log

This cool coin shows its location as "unknown." I don't know how that happened, since it is in a "known" cache, but I will resolve the issue by "grabbing" it and "dropping" it back into the cache.

I attended the 1984 (I think it was 1984) U.S. Jamboree at Ft. A.P. Hill, Virginia. We got nailed by the ramnants of a hurricane and things got a little messy, but the experience of the Jamboree is something that will live with me for the rest of my life.

Thanks for sharing this coin with us on this side of "The Pond."

11/25/07: Oops, the Ft. A.P. Hill, Virginia, Jamboree was in 1985.

I thought I would drop this coin in a hotel in hopes that someone could help with its mission. Irony - this cache is about a quarter mile south of Essex court condo community.
