    Dropped off Nook in a place that can be very cold in the winter time, just below Steven's Pass. When the trains were going through this area, a big avelanche in 1910 proved disasterous and was the impetus to build the snow sled here.

    We brought Nook on vacation with us from Wisconsin, and took him on a wonderful hike up Black Butte. The views of the surrounding mountains were awesome!! He stayed up there, and we just got home last night first to log in the drop. We had a really great time at Black Butte Ranch, and had fun introducing the rest of the group to the sport of geo-caching. Good luck on your journey, Nook!
