About This Item

On August 15th 2007, I attended the GONIL IL/WI August I.C.S. - Eat, Meet and Greet!  I bought this geocooin as I enjoyed some icecream.  I met a few cachers.  Back then there weren't as many people caching.  Infact At that time Busse woods I had pretty much cleaned out.  Fast forward to now... four years to the day later (yesterday as I write this), August 15th 2011,  (My Grandfathers birthday)  I decided to release this geocoin I had in my collection.  It is from The fourth of July 2007.  Many cachers in the area here didn't even know about geocaching at that time.  Wow.  Now they have double and triple what I have in finds.  Oh well.  I just take it easy... find what I can and enjoy myself in this wonderful hobby of ours.  I heard on a podcast, someone refer to it as a "sportivity".  I like that.  So that's what I shall call it. A sportivity.

Was visiting Bond falls with our church youth group and spent some time showing them geocaching. Bond is a great place to take in the view. Also spent some time cliff jumping about 45 minutes from there on the same trip.
