About This Item

An overview and rules are posted on Gaviidae's web site. He's the ref.

Imporant rules: don't take it out of the defined territory (the western halves of King and Pierce County), and log its movement ASAP. Also, remember the waiting times for cachers (six days or five players), teams (six days or opponent's territory), or caches (ten subsequent caches). There are no distance limitations this round.

All logs need to include the time of your log entry
(the time you actually type it in).

FYI, at the start of round 3, this bug had 327.3 miles on it.

A very nice place, and a surprisingly tough find. Og's Outfit re-hid it very well, and the cache location in February looks nothing like it did in the pictures when the cache was hidden. Moun10Bike's log threw me off a bit, too.

What struck me, more than anything else about this location, is that it looks almost exactly as I envisioned the Tallahatchie bridge that Billy Joe MacAllister jumped off of (having never seen the movie). I almost felt like hiking up to Pacific Avenue and throwing a few flowers off, but I didn't have any flowers, and I had to get the Hot Potato back north, pronto.

No rabbits, but a lot of mole hills. Left a pen in the pen-less cache, took the Potato TB. Took at 12:45, logging at 1:50.

Sumner is a neat little town. Isn't it too bad that it has to be in Pierce county? sigh
