About This Item

An overview and rules are posted on Gaviidae's web site. He's the ref.

Imporant rules: don't take it out of the defined territory (the western halves of King and Pierce County), and log its movement ASAP. Also, remember the waiting times for cachers (six days or five players), teams (six days or opponent's territory), or caches (ten subsequent caches). There are no distance limitations this round.

All logs need to include the time of your log entry
(the time you actually type it in).

FYI, at the start of round 3, this bug had 327.3 miles on it.

I watched the previous game of Puget Sound Geo Hot Potato get way out of hand. I woke up this morning I noticed that the potato was placed in my cache. As the owner of Baxter's Camp Long Cache Redeux, I decided that I don't want my cache to be used for this game. The front gates to the park were open at 0600 today for the days climbing classes. I did not put it in Troop 591 because the area is getting geothrashed quite a bit and the area is having a tough time rebounding. I will place it in a nearby cache sometime this morning. Peace, Nolenator

To clarify... The bug went into the cache at about 5:25 and were out of the park by 5:35. That was a really wet muddy walk to get out. Noting the time of drop off at 7:07 on the cache page, it is now 7:09

Tried to edit the pick up log to put a time, but it won't let me edit it. We retrieved the potato around 10:30am in case that matters to anyone.

    EDIT:

Now that the necessities are done... Perrin and I really wanted to give everyone a chance to sit down and really enjoy Super Bowl Sunday and several members of Team South were very helpful in putting together a way to make this happen 🙂 This park closed at 6:00pm tonight it will reopen on Tuesday.

Posting a pic of the sign that has the park hours on it so there are no misunderstandings. Oh and it looks like there are some nice big gates that will close at the entrance too. 😁
