This is a hard charging, 82nd Airborne Travel Bug of the 504th Parachute Infantry variety. It would like to visit jump school at Fort Benning, Georgia. It would then like to go to its home post at Fort Bragg, NC. After visiting stateside it would like to travel to the 504th WW2 drop zones located at Gela, Sicily - Paestum, Salerno - St. Mere Eglise, Normandy, France - Nijmegen, Holland. It would like to be photographed in these locations as much as possible. After its 4 combat jumps it would like to return to its home cache.
This dog tag is dedicated to all paratroopers past and present and is on a mission to visit all 4 combat drop zones of the 504th Parachute Infantry in WW2 as well as its home bases. The bug contains a set of tiny American Jump Wings, US Paratrooper patch, Glider patch, & the Strike Hold crest of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment. Every time this travel bug is found I want the finders to exclaim "Seems like the black hearted devil is everywhere!"
