Visiting from Alaska for work. First time in Baltimore- although my dad used to come here often on lacrosse recruiting trips. Brought with me this trackable Munzee I had picked up from a cache in my hometown and was determined to find a large enough container to drop it in, and the Baltimore Riot Trail multi-cache was the perfect opportunity to learn some of our country’s history and have fun along the way!
After a few quick number grabs (and appreciation for the 9/11 memorial) I got a bit stuck where Pratt crosses Jones Falls. Found the area of interest easily enough but no trail sign with number anywhere in sight! Decided to finish the quest and felt confident having 5 of the 6 numbers was enough to gain access to the cache by figuring the last number through process of elimination.
The next day I grabbed my Munzee and realized it was a K9 Task Force trackable in honor of the WTC Recovery Team!!! What a perfect opportunity to stop by the 9/11 memorial again for a photo to recognize all the heroic search and recovery efforts after that terrible day.
Once at the final cache location, quickly found the container, and after a few combination attempts guessing the missing number it opened right up! Signed the log, dropped in the munzee, and removed a souvenir to remember the adventure.
Good luck on your adventure, hope someone picks you up soon and helps you meet your goal!
