AMTG American Flag 2007 GC 2

Small to mid size coin with heft. Unusual shape. The front of this coin has bold but sharp 3-D work and matte enamel. It depicts an American flag with excellent work on each star. The enamel work is very well done so as not to cover or mar any of the stars. The reverse has nice brushed background metal work. The 3-D is only on a small area and is delicate. It depicts the raising of the flag during WWII. It is so well done that you can see the belts, the pant cuffs, the flag rope and each star on the flag. It says "This flag, which we honor and under which we serve, is the emblem of our unity, our power, our thought and purposes as a nation. President Woodrow Wilson". "God Bless America" is in relief and has slight white enamel. The only other enamel is on the flag. I have chosen to make the reverse the default photo on the GC page. The photo does not do the detail credit. 2007. Excellent coin. --------------------------------So many of my GCs have been muggled that I only release new ones as virtuals.
