Since the little bug is about Stories and Nicknames, here goes:
We found this little feller lost in a BIG ol briar patch in West Tennessee. He was surrounded by "The Devil's Walking Sticks" and someone loved all his name off. It looks as if he wasn't reported as dropped in this cache. We got him at Old Salem Cemetery. GCN253 In West Tennessee!
It's a place where there was quite a battle between the Confederate and Union soldiers. There were a lot of good men lost there and one little yeellow travel bug! Many of the soldiers are buried with headstones marked "Unknown" .
I will post photos for your viewing pleasure.
We will drag him along with us until we find a place that he may get into some mainstream traffic and head out a ways on his Journey.
It's interesting that he came all the way from California, so did WE!

    • KJKate at Old Salem Cemetery
    • A Tiny Confederate Soldier A tiny soldier stands honoring his fallen brothers.
    • Libby at Old Salem Cemetery This is "Lost Liberty" She is Kate's Jeep. We try to take her picture at every cache we find. There is a saying "Two roads diverged - I took the one less traveled - Because I have a Jeep and a GPS
    • The Devil's Walking Stick These huge briars are called "The Devil's Walking Stick" These are about 6 feet tall and have huge thorns on them, as you can see in the inset on the photo. The cache with your travel bug was hidden in behind a whole bunch of these so we had to be very careful while going in to find it.

This was our first travel bug to find. Yea!! We found it at Texas Beach in Richmond, Virginia. There was a wonderful autumn olive blooming in the area and one whiff will send you into a mystic trance. MysticWillow and I found it together. We're looking for a place worthy of caching it next.
