A Big Thanks to Weary Banker and Bookworm who took pics, as I had forgotten to, before I started the race in their cache!
Penelope has gone missing along with the cache she was last placed in. By default, I therfore declare Dick Dastardly the Winner on 26-4-08.
I shall let him travel to see how far he gets in 2008

She fought a brave race, and even lost her head, but in the end DD has proven to be the stronger racer. R.I.P Penelope

    Penelope had a bit of a close shave here. When I found the box the chain had obviously broken and the three parts had become separated, I found the slug which I thought was a TB on it's own. I saw the laminated card describing Penelope's mission so looked for Penelope, which I had thought was just an ordinary swap but I thought I'd take them and try to rescue her in the best traditions of Peter Perfect. Anyway when I got home & looked online I realised that I'd collected all three parts of the same TB - lucky or what? However somewhere during her perils Penelope's arms & head have snapped off - ouch! , so there's just a pair of pink legs driving the "Compact Pussycat number 5" now.

    Penelope now has a new chain and all three parts are reunited so I'll move her on soon.
