This bug was released at the Founders Meeting of the Geocachers of West Tennessee Organization on 29 January 2005. The six elected officers each released a bug to see who's bug could go where in the first year of the organization. Races for most miles, most caches visited, etc.

The furnace was huge. My daughter and I walked right up into it at ground level. Except for a big hole wher it hooked up to the building, I can see this thing being here for a very, very long time.

I had no idea that Dayton, Ohio had such an attachment to Orville and Wilbur Wright until I came here. I always associated them with Kitty Hawk, North Carolina (we visited there last year on vacation and logged that virtual as well). Both are native Daytonians.

Nice little walk in the woods on a boardwalk through a swamp. Doesnt sound as nice as it really was.

I liked the idea for this one. A thermos container weighted down with a floor tile tied to a tree, but thrown out into the middle of a deep river. Clever, devious, throws a lot of people off the trail...and I love it. Me thinks Vermont needs one ASAP!
