I guess there were too many TB's at my party...this one was left at the end of the night, so I brought it home with me again.

    I'll move it along soon!

I only have one scheduled class at CSUEB this quarter, it meets on Mondays from 9:20am - 10:30am. I have the rest of the day off so I decided to go get some more Travel Bugs and Geocoins to take to the upcoming F.A.M.E. "Travel Bug Photo Shoot" (GC23TCQ) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=ce14d099-1665-4e3e-a029-fc80c64e2893 that is coming up on February 28th, 2010 from 6pm - 9pm.

I planned a route that contained caches on the way to Knowland Park in Oakland near my brother WRITE SHOP ROBERT's house. I was hoping that he would join me for the second half of the day and do some caching in the park. Before I could even get to him I had to dodge a parking ticket, slip and fall down a muddy hilside, think about risking life and limb, hike to the top of the wrong hill, drive 6 miles to a cache 2 miles away, and pray that no stay bullets would find me. Once I joined up with my brother I had to walk through the mud, walk back through the mud after forgetting some stuff, look the wrong direction while my brother made the find, try four routes to a cache...just to DNF anyways, and weather the rain that started pouring down.

If you want to share in my adventures of the my day follow the links at the end of each of my logs. Let's begin:

"Half and Half": This cache seemed to be a good starting point for the rest of the caches in this park, as it seems all the fire trails meet here. My brother WRITE SHOP ROBERT made the find before me, but it wasn't too hard to find. We spent some time looking through the swag, and I found the TB I was looking for. We knew that this cache needed a new container so we had brought one with us. After my brother got some good photos we returned the cache to its hiding spot. Since we only got to find one other cache in the park after this one I will be back to the area soon and often. I found Travel Bug Cache-8 (TBJ5RJ) http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?guid=48ec5020-e364-45fb-83cf-b8d2014517fd hanging out here, I will be taking it with me to the F.A.M.E. Bet you thought I was missing! Nah, I was just hanging in out in a run down, piece a cr** cache, with holes in it, next to piles of cat sh**, and not in the greatest neighborhood. I was exposed to the weather so long I'm falling apart. Please contact the nice man that rescued me ASAP to talk about ways to help me get back on the road.
