...dieser Wal stand schon lange auf der Wunschliste!! Endlich ist er da und erfreut sich über den Platz im Koffer! Dazu leuchtet der Mond auch noch im Dunkeln - klasse gearbeitete großartige Coin. Der "Northern Right Whale" hat seinen Namen von den Walfängern erhalten. Über Hunderte von Jahren wurde er bis an die Grenze zum Aussterben gejagt. Sie nannten ihn den richtigen Wal, denn als er gejagt und getötet wurde, schwamm er aufgrund seines Fettanteils an der Wasseroberfläche - daher war es der richtige Wal. Während der südliche Glattwal mit ca. 3000 Tieren weltweit ein leichtes Comeback erlebt, liegt die Population des nördlichen Glattwals bei rund 300, Tendenz weiter sinkend. Ein Teil des Erlöses dieser Coin floss seinerzeit in das Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies.
... this whale has been on the wish list for a long time !! Finally it is there and enjoys the space in the suitcase! In addition the moon shines even in the dark - great designed Geooin. The "Northern Right Whale" got its name from the whalers. For hundreds of years it was hunted to extinction. They called him the right whale, because when he was hunted and killed, he swam on water surface because of the amount of fat - so it was the right whale. While the Southern Whale with about 3,000 animals is experiencing a slight comeback worldwide, the population of the Northern Whale is around 300, and the trend continues to fall. Part of the proceeds from this coin got into the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies project.

Danke an mel-whv, dass ich die Möglichkeit erhalten habe, deine gesamte Sammlung online zu betrachten und zu discovern😍👍🏻 und fast täglich kommen immer wieder neue hinzu🤩😦 echt eine große Sammelleidenschaft bei dir! Nun hatte ich mir in den letzten Wochen wieder etwas Zeit genommen, um die nächsten 100 Coins aus deiner Sammlung zu bewundern! Wahnsinn was für Schmuckstücke teilweise dazwischen sind!

Hallo mel-whv,
Oft haben wir schon in der Geocaching Fotogalerie Deine Coin's bewundern und discovern können.
Bei einem Besuch auf Deinem Profil konnten wir Deine unglaubliche große Coinsammlung bewundern. Wir haben mal angefangen diese Mega große Sammlung zu discovern, aber bei der Menge werden wir dafür noch eine Zeit lang brauchen.
Bei den meisten kann man ja offen den Code lesen, daher hoffen wir dass das okay ist.
