About This Item

The Bear Hugs coin was made for two events. One held in Minnesota on August 4th 2007 as Centris was beginning her trip to her new home. The other event was held in Wyoming on August 11th, 2007 after she arrived. The coins were given to those who attended either event.

The theme of the events was "Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold."

About this coin....

  • The gold colored coins are numbered 1-50 and were given to Minnesota cachers to symbolize old friends.
  • The silver colored coins are numbered 1-50 and were given to Wyoming cachers to symbolize new friends.
  • The black colored coins are numbered 1-20 and were Centris' personal edition.

Oh also, since I haven't been caching much lately, I think I finally have time to hunker down and sort out my entire geocoin collection. Not sure how I'll organize them all yet, since some of the darned things are odd shapes or sizes. Maybe I'll just have to group them by if they're a normal coin size and put those in books. Any odd shaped or large coins can go in my geocoin ammo box :)

Finally found my stash of geocoins :) So no, this one isn't lost anymore. It's right where it's supposed to be, with me :)

Stopped by a cache in Virgina today. It was supposed to be loaded with travelbugs, but none in the cache. Pretty rest area though :)
