The Duke was a bit puzzled by the bird call, but found the site fascinating. A bit of wilderness surviving in the middle of the city.

A nifty spot, but too much traffic nearby for the Duke's liking. And way too far from the ocean. He's back on the road north.

The Duke surfed a few waves and dazzled the locals and gringos (Mexican for haolies) alike. But the surf here was too small and too tame. He longs for the warm waters and big surf of Hawaii. But sometimes you gotta go north to go south. The Duke will be heading back up the baja peninsula with us on our way to Alaska.
