This dog tag-wearing puppy puppet would like to be photographed with fire hydrants across the US. He started his journey in Massachusetts, tagged along with jwoolf to San Jose, CA and would like to see fire hydrants, dog parks and beaches on his way home to the east coast. This was one of those rare TB's that I didn't want to release!?? I hope he makes his way safely home to Mass with a BUNCH of cool stories under his belt, errr... collar!

Quick drop & grab at one of Utah's odd & unique landmarks! If you see this when driving east towards the Casinos & Hotels of the NV bordertown of Wendover, you know you're halfway to your destination! :)

Puppy Puppet was a GRAND companion as I drove the Utah portion of the Pony Express trail, will post pix soon!

  • PP at the Simpson Springs Historic P.E. Station A bunch of Xterra Owners ride the Pony Express Trail every year out to Wendover to enjoy the varied terrain in Western Utah. The majority is 2wd friendly on dirt roads, with dozens of monuments along the way representing old Pony Express Stations. The Simpson Springs house is still there, along with other remnants of other homes/storage buildings... it's easy to take in the landscape and practically hear the galloping horses w/riders flying by with precious cargo...

  • These hydrants have FLAGS! Not to be mistaken with your favorite neighborhood Miniature Golf Course... the hydrants at Snowbird are flagged to prevent the Snow Cat's from backing/pushing them over when they're hidden by banks of snow. :) Puppy Puppet had a blast hanging out w/me at work. That's the Cliff Lodge over PP's shoulder, Mt. Superior looming in the distance...
