When MrsNavySparks started teaching 4th grade 19 years ago she wanted a pet for her classroom. Our choice was Igor, a three toed box turtle. As things turned out he did not spend a lot of time in the classroom as we both really became attached to him and he is now part of the family. Since MrsNavySparks loves turtles what better choice for a TB to keep in my wife's good graces!

Just a note... we do have this still this TB. The trouble is that it's hard to find a cache big enough to put it in. We're working on it, though, and first chance we get we'll be dropping it off somewhere in the Poland/Slovakia/Germany area.

I was looking for a travel bug that wanted to "see the world," and Igor was just a mile from my house in the SKULDUGGERY!!!! cache. I think he needs to get out of his West-Coast/Hawaii rut. So, I hope he's ready to pack his bags...

Took the day off work and found Igor! I hope little Igor likes plays...we're going to Ashland next weekend to see Shakespeare! (Pictures to follow)

Found Igor the Turtle in Salem Oregon. Whoever placed him there has not logged the placement. I waited for a couple of days for the person to log the find and even asked the owner of Igor what they wanted me to do, so I will now log Igor in. I will move him along, but not at Igor regular pace. My daughter thinks Igor is very cute.

We rescued Igor the Turtle from the Ahukini Cache. Igor kept trying to get a view of the beautiful surf breaking from the rock wall. Unfortunately Igor had trouble seeing over the rock wall and s/he wanted another view. Thus, the rescue. Now that I have made the grab, Igor will be returning to the mainland just in time for Spring. 😎
