Current Goal

My goal is to circle the U.S. and remind all who find me to remember our troops, whether they're in the air, on land, or at sea. You can support them in many ways. Send a care package to a soldier, have your kids write a letter or draw a picture for a soldier. You can drop these items off at any recruiting office (Army, USMC, AirForce, Navy, Coast Guard) and they will send it for you. Please take me from coast to coast, border to border and let me do my job. I would like to visit my big brothers and sisters at Whiteman AFB in Missouri, then on to every other military base and have the folks autograph my notebook (I would be proud if you were a private or a general). Thank you so much, from the GeoAviators (Grumman Goose, Skyhawk, and our two little Piper Cubs (Chase and Madisynn).

About This Item

b2spirit cruise.jpg

I am a Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit. Im a Multi role Bomber with stealth capability, I was the first one to be delivered on December 17, 1993. (the 90th year anniversary of the Wright Bros. first flight at Kittyhawk). The called me the "Spirit of Missouri". I have 22 brothers and sisters at their home base, Whiteman AFB in Missouri. Depot Maintenance is done at Tinker AFB in OK City. I proved my worthiness during Operation Allied Force by destroying 33% of all Serbian targets in the first 8 weeks. I flew these missions from Whiteman AFB to Kosovo and back nonstop. My longest mission to date was to Afghanistan and back. I carry 2 pilots and fly at subsonic speeds at an altitude of 50,000ft. I have 4 General Electric engines, each producing 17,500lbs. I can fly 6000miles without refueling. I have a takeoff weight of 336,500lbs. My payload is 40,000lbs. I may cost a bit, $1.157 billion, but I serve my country well.
